✹ Why become an advisor?

Advisors play a vital role in shaping SubJudice.art. Whether you bring legal expertise, artistic vision, marketing savvy, governance experience, or a deep history with the Lyceum, your voice matters.

Two types of advisor roles:

Read Advisor Terms
  • Role. Advisors provide expertise and guidance in their chosen area(s). They are not employees, contractors, or agents of SubJudice.art.
  • Votes. Each advisor receives 3 votes during their term, which may be used in all production selections. Advisor votes are tied to active service and expire at the end of the term.
  • Term. Advisor terms are one year and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
  • Expectations. Advisors are expected to participate in at least two of the three annual voting rounds and to respond to reasonable requests for feedback. Attendance at periodic online meetings is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • Confidentiality. Advisors may have access to sensitive information (including legal strategy). They agree to keep such information confidential.
  • No compensation. Advisor votes have no cash value. Advisors receive no monetary compensation.
  • Code of conduct. Advisors must treat all community members with respect and adhere to the SubJudice.art Code of Conduct (linked separately).
  • Removal. SubJudice.art reserves the right to remove an advisor for violation of these terms or conduct detrimental to the community. An advisor may resign at any time by notifying us.
  • Stacking. Advisors may also submit work and earn votes as Voting Members. The two roles are independent and votes stack.
